Girls' Track 3rd At County

The Manchester High School girls’ track team finished third at the Wabash County Meet last week.
Wabsh won with a score of 174, while Southwood was second with 114, Manchester was third with 111, and Northfield was fourth with 81.
Manchster’s only win was in the 400m relay as the team finished first with a time of 54.90.
The Lady Squires’ best individual results were in the shot put and discus where Crystal Fuller finished second in both.
In the shot put, Fuller set a PR with a throw of 29’11 1/2". She also set a PR in the discus with a toss of 104’00".
Hanna Schmidt finished second in the 800m run with a time of 2:30.90.
The 3200m relay team finished second with a time of 10:53.20, while the 1600m relay team finished second (4:21.30).
Coming in third place was Andy Sharfman in the 1600m run (5:57.10) and the 3200m run (12:54.00), and Mackenzie Coulter-Kern in the 400m dash (1:04.10).
Fourth place finishes were Abby Penrod in the 300m hurdles (53.30), Kaytlyn Eberly in the high jump (4’6"), Lillie Terrill in the long jump (13' 8"), and Schmidt in the 400m dash (1:06.20).
Coming in fifth place was Lille Terrill in the 100m dash (14.10), Elizabeth Schilling in the 100m hurdles (19.20), Emily Grant in the 1600m run (6:12.10) and the high jump (4’4"), Brittany Sievers in the shot put (28’05"), Darien Rodriguez in the 800m run (2:45.50), and Shady Tharp in the 200m dash (29.12).
Sixth place results were Chelsea Ridenour in the 300m hurdles (56.40)and Coulter-Kern in the 200m dash (29.13).
The girls’ track team will be at the TRC Meet this Thursday.
