Boys' Track Team 4th At County

The MHS boys’ track team finished fifth at the Wabash County Meet last week with 74 points.
Southwood won with 184 points, while Wabash was second at 120, Northfield was third with 86, and White’s was fifth with nine.
Trae Bruce was Manchester’s only athlete to win an event, winning the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.40.
Bruce was also second in the 300m hurdles at 44.90.
Aric Howard finished second in the discus (119’11").
Coming in third place was Kyle Henderson in the 100m dash (11.50), Jacob Anderson in the 110m hurdles (18.20) and the 400m relay team (47.10).
Fourth place finishes were the 3200m relay team (9:20.60), Kyle DeWitt in the shot put (35’5 1/2"), Bruce in the high jump (5’4"), Skyler Honeycutt in the 400m run (57.50), and Kegan McNeeley in the 200m dash (24.60).
Sixth place finishes were Preston Penrod in the 100m dash (11.90), Anderson in the 300m hurdles (50.30), Alex Sharfman in the 3200m run (11:53.10), and Jared Monce in the 800m run (2:17.90).
The boys’ track team will be at the TRC Meet this Thursday.
