Brittany Sievers led the Squires with 11 kills and five aces, while Tara Gnagy had three aces, six kills, and eight digs, and Katie Bowers had four aces, five kills, and 10 digs.
The JV team lost to Whitko 16-25, 25-24, 15-10 in their season opener.
Sheridan Wilcox had six kills, while Elizabeth Schilling had five kills, and Katie Smith had four aces.
“This was our first match of the season,” coach Sue Gnagy said. “The girls were a little nervous. If we continue to play aggressively, we will be fine.”
